Another great rooftop photo from the '20s. The woman on the left is my great-grandmother Rosie (or as my family likes to call her Nanie Rosie). The other is the same woman from my earlier post La Bellissima Regina .
They're wearing the same dress! Was this planned or was it a coincidence? Maybe the store had a sale.
Hey! I m not sure I can express in words, and especially in English, how much I love the 20s and everything that has to do with this decade. Your nanie s pictures are amazing. One of my favorite poets was young and died at the end of the 20s so in my mind it s the decate of poetry and romanticism... :D

She was a greek poet. Her name is Maria Polydouri and if you google it you ll find a couple of her pictures. Unfortunately they re not so clear =[
